Trainer Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 7, 2026

BUSY ApS ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Master Bidoof mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Account Data

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, both managed through Supabase Auth. When you sign in, we receive and store:

  • Your authentication identifier (a unique user ID)
  • Your email address (if provided by the sign-in provider)

This data is stored securely in our Supabase database and is used solely to manage your account and sync your data across devices.

Pokemon GO Trainer Profile Data

You may optionally provide your Pokemon GO trainer information, including:

  • Trainer name
  • Trainer level
  • Team (Mystic, Valor, or Instinct)
  • Friend code

This data is stored in our Supabase database and is used to personalize your experience within the App. You can update or delete this information at any time through your profile settings.

Local Device Storage

The App stores certain data locally on your device:

  • Preferences (via MMKV): App settings, theme preferences, and user choices are stored locally for fast access.
  • API Cache (via AsyncStorage): Responses from external APIs are cached locally to improve performance and enable offline functionality.

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data for ad personalization, including:

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) for personalized ad delivery
  • General device information and app usage data

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements, and no advertising data is collected for premium users.

For more information about how Google handles your data, please review Google's Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat. When you subscribe, RevenueCat processes and stores:

  • Purchase history and transaction identifiers
  • Subscription entitlement status (active, expired, etc.)
  • App User ID for linking purchases to your account

Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment card details.

Push Notifications

The App uses local push notifications (via expo-notifications) to alert you about upcoming Pokemon GO events. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers, and we do not use remote push notification services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is only shared with the third-party services described in this policy (Supabase for data storage, Google AdMob for advertising, and RevenueCat for subscription management) as necessary to operate the App.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
